Since 1906 it has been the privilege of the Discalced Carmelites to minister to the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims who visit this beautiful Shrine dedicated to Mary Help of Christians each year.

We, the Discalced Carmelite Friars of the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill are a religious community of men striving for union with God through prayer and community life.
